Florida Hope Scholarship
Program Type: The Hope Scholarship offers a voucher/ESA for students experiencing bullying or violence in their current public school.
What It Supports:
- Private school tuition (scholarship amount varies by school tuition)
- Transportation to another public school ($750)
Who It Serves: K–12 public school students who reported bullying, harassment, violence, battery, kidnapping, physical attack, robbery, sexual assault, sexual harassment, or threat/intimidation incidents
Funding Amount: Varies by school tuition or $750 for public school transportation
Application Requirements:
- Incident must be reported to school personnel
- Hope Scholarship application must be initiated within 15 days of reporting the incident
- Documentation from school required
Rapid Access: Designed to provide quick assistance once incident is reported and documented by the school
Year-Round Availability: Applications can be submitted year-round for eligible students experiencing bullying or violence under the Hope Scholarship
Application Process: For private school scholarships, apply through Step Up For Students (877-735-7837) after reporting incident to school
